Quick and Easy Team Building Games to Incorporate Into Team Meetings

5 Simple Team Building Games

Team building games are quick, fun, easy to organise and cost effective. Below are five simple suggestions for activities that can be incorporated into part of a weekly or monthly team meeting.

Best Moments
 - A great way of introducing a little of everyones individual personality into the workplace, the Best Moments game is one of the more heart warming team building games. The group is asked to take a moment of silent contemplation and recall what they consider to be the best moment of their lives to date. The team then takes turns in regaling the rest of the room with their anecdote, whether amusing, triumphant or emotional. Being personal to each individual, it reveals a little something new about each person in turn.

The Newspaper Bridge
 - Possibly the best known of all team building games, the Newspaper Bridge (also commonly the Newspaper Tower) is excellent for teamwork and problem solving. The group is split into a number of small groups and presented with equal amounts of newspaper. Using nothing but the print and their brains, they are challenged to build a bridge (or tower). The strongest (or tallest) structure wins.

What Country Would You Be?
 - This little exercise challenges the creative mind, and the geography skills of its participants. Members of the team are put into pairs and are given a brief few minutes to learn as much about each other as possible. Each pair is then asked "If your partner were a country, what country would they be and why?" Often comical to say the least, this activity works as a fantastic icebreaker.

The Pasta Tower
- Similar to the newspaper challenge, teams are supplied with dry spaghetti and some form of jelly sweets. With these tools, they are asked to build a structure of the highest heights. The team with the tallest standing structure are crowned the champions. To make this a little tougher, try waiting five minutes before the judges weigh in. Most structures wont stay standing for that long!

Work Related Pictionary
 - Everyone knows the classic party game of Pictionary but beyond its use as a fun pastime between friends, it is one of the best team building games to improve on group communication. Learning to draw the same conclusions from a selection of images allows the team to take their understanding of each other that little deeper. Making the task work related is an excellent way of building this understanding in a professional sense.

The above are some of the most common activities for team bonding. For a really uniting experience, why not challenge your workforce to come up with a series of team building games of their own?

7 Easy Mind Games to Get Your Ex to Come Back To You

Now that you are broken up, the two of you are actually in a psychological war that may end well if you know what to do.

Mind Game 1

Go with the flow of things. After the breakup, the two of you are going to be on an emotional roller coaster ride. Get ready for this. It is normal for you both to get cold with each other - the trick is to remain aloof and seem unaffected. You want your partner to think you are unaffected with the breakup - to keep your emotions hidden. This makes your ex wonder if leaving you was a good idea to begin with; it gives you power in the relationship again, which is very important.

Mind Game 2

You might feel tempted to constantly call or text your ex, telling them you love and miss them and you want to get back together. This could be the worst mistake of any that youd make. You want to look cool, not desperate. Desperation drives the person away. They will just get annoyed and angry and push further away from you.

Mind Game 3

Win their heart back by changing your old, sloppy habits. Now is your time to change everything about yourself you dont like (And your ex probably didnt either.) Try to be the person you were when the two of you first met. Who was that person your ex fell in love with, the first time? Have you changed drastically from that person? Showing your ex that you can change will surprise them AND touch their heart.

Mind Game 4

Give your ex the silent treatment. Instead of talking to your ex, hang out with your friend instead, as much as you possibly can. When your ex sees that you are not speaking to him or her, it will make them totally nuts. It will slowly kill them and make them desperate for you. Warning: dont overdo this or it could backfire on you.

Mind Game 5

Upgrade your looks and personal being. While youre away from your ex, why not try to get a new look and get in shape? Dress to kill. Make yourself presentable. If you run into your ex, you can present yourself as whole and new. Let your persona grow. Exercise will release endorphins that boost your mood...
And you will be in shape and be a head-turner again, making your ex come back to you.

Mind Game 6

Get popular. Tell your exs friends and family good things about the person. You might want to have their friends and family on your side - which actually makes your ex like you more too.

Mind Game 7

Start over brand new by inviting your ex on a date. But be cool and casual. Dont talk about the breakup. This is a time to just be like friends again. Be kind, and familiar, but try to not bring up old bad memories.
Now, go get em, tiger!
